How to read your bill
The first page shows the consumption period, kilowatt-hours and amount due. Check whether it's a final bill (actual reading) or an advance (the supplier's estimate). Charges split into supply, regulated, taxes and third-party fees.
When switching is worth it
When the yearly gap is meaningful, your contract has no large exit fee and you understand the new plan's pricing. A fixed price gives predictability; a variable one can cost less or more month to month.
How to switch
Apply to the new supplier with the supply number from your bill. The new supplier handles the switch; you don't need to terminate the old contract yourself and the meter doesn't change.
Night-rate tariff
With a dual-zone meter, part of your usage is billed at a reduced night rate. Tell us in the comparison so zoned plans are calculated correctly.
